The Cost of Following Jesus
Jesus said, “Follow me.” What does that mean? It’s can be easy to be a follower because often no initiative is involved. Jesus tells us that following Him is not a walk in the park. He must be our number one priority. We must be willing to forget family, friends, dreams and ambitions. Jesus forsook everything to tell people in the community that God loves them. He expects no less from us!
Give Love To Get Love
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says this:
a Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it
is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in
evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres.
